IBP: Try to describe your book in one sentence.

VK: Good vs. evil sort of story filled with action and even more importantly book about how to get out from even impossible situation.

IBP: If you wouldn’t be a writer, what you would be?

3rdkeyVK: Hard to tell. I would probably focus entirely on teaching martial art (Traditional Wing Chun) and courses of self-defense.

IBP: Where would you live if you could live anywhere in the world?

VK: I live in Prague and simply love it here. This is one of most beautiful and mystical cities on Earth if you want to see it that way, off course.

IBP: Do you write at a laptop/desktop or do you write freehand?

VK: I wrote all my books by hand, mostly while traveling trough India, Nepal and Peru. Now of course I type them all on my Mac and I enjoy seeing how the story grows, gets a new dimension of life and lives deeper on their own.

IBP: What’s the hardest part of writing a book?

VK: For me, hardest is to keep the focus on the current affairs of a story and not getting in too much of the detail. I see them, I feel them but I would follow up, books would become just too long and dragy.

IBP: What is your writing schedule?

VK: Oh boy! I guess there is no schedule in my case. Sometimes I write down only 5 minutes, (notes or missing parts I just got clear) and there are days I write hours in one peace. I write when story is clear and ripe inside of my mind – that I can’t really schedule.

IBP: Where do you get your inspiration?

VK: From wise people, ancient wisdom and the eternal truths I guess. I believe there is perfection inside of all of us. I also feel strongly we all have to find that perfection inside our hearts.

IBP: What is the one book that you think everyone should read?

VK: There are few I think fall in to this category. I can’t pick one but I guess 10 would be too much to quote, LOL. I could I do one for main two aspect of our lives? For the spiritual understanding I would say Bhagavat Gita (best translation I found is dome by A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami) and for the creative material aspect (gross and subtle affairs) I suggest ‘The Attractor Factor’  written by Dr. Joe Vitale.

IBP: How important do you find the communication between you and your readers? Do you reply to their messages or read their reviews?

VK: I actually love chatting and answering questions. I also love to ask them for the opinions about new covers, Titles etc. I certainly do communicate, almost every day when I am not in the offline mode.

IBP: What are your thoughts on eBooks? (i.e. love them, hate them, wave of the future)

VK: EBooks are definitely the future that is already present. ‘Real’ books will always be around and will carry that special feel and smell around them but if we speak about how most of people will read in future – eBooks for sure.

IBP: Are you working on anything new and if so when can we expect to see it?

VK: Yes, I am typing the last chapters of new book (most probably) titled ‘Final Destiny’. That is the2nd book in GUARDING THE LIGHT series that follows Jason Raiden, Gunnar, Sumiko and others but it is prequel to the theme and storyline unfolded in ‘The Third Key.’

Blurb:

“You can’t blame the blade, you can’t consider it accountable – it’s all about the attentions of the person behind it.”

Jason Raiden is trying to live normal life as a martial art instructor. Soon, he will need all of his skill to defeat an enemy – with more than human powers.

Quabil Shahzad, backed with mortal demoniac technology and mystic powers is on a mission to destroy life on this Planet. Jason is on a mission to protect it. The goal? To find the Key that will open the backdoor to the Universe. Jason is trained, ready and willing – but this time, he has no weapons – only his martial arts training and mind power.

Ex Guardian of the Light meets the servant of the Demonic Alliance. Powers of Light and demonic black forces meet in Ritual Rooms of cathedrals.

Jason has hunted this evil before…can he win again?

Bio:

I never ‘planned’ to become a writer. It just happened. From my childhood I had ability to take shelter in great stories, books, adventures and fantasies and I am sure that saved me from lot of trouble and pain.

Healing effect that good story gives to our minds and souls is just irreplaceable  - I therefore enjoy in writing my books.

I guess I am selfish. I learned that we always get what we give to others and what I am after is the real truth behind the apparent experience this world offers.”

Victor K. Ramsey was born in 1971 in Hartford, Connecticut from parents in the upper middle class. Amongst other kids and students, his intuitiveness and urge to know the truth did not make him too popular; reading, drawing and martial arts were his ‘safe places’ in those days. Before his graduation he left home in order to find answers on questions that have bothered him. Sick and tired from illusory shine of the world around him, Vic has followed his heart’s call.

‘Who am I?’, ‘Why I am Here’ and ‘Where I am Going?’ quest brought him to interesting places and situations. He traveled to Nepal, Peru and Europe spending time where he could learn and grow. His quest made him study martial arts such as Aikido, Jeet Kune Do and Wing Chun. He spends time on places in India where ancient Vedic Culture is still preserved and he learned from genuine spiritualist that ‘walk the talk’. He wrote several books and his friends made him start publishing. He writes, teaches Chi Kung and realistic Self-Defense in Europe, Prague.
