IBP – Tell us about your new release?
Ted – The Borisov Dilemma is a novel about the interaction between an ex-CIA officer and his ex-wife, a CIA contractor; the relationship between a Mossad mole in the Iranian nuclear program and his Israeli contact, and the adversarial and intriguing role between Russia and the United States. The backdrop is the increasing tension generated by the continued construction of Iran’s nuclear capability coupled with an assassin who is after the mole.
IBP – Tell me a little about yourself.
Ted – At my age I have already had various careers. I am a retired Lieutenant Colonel, worked as a probation officer, and as a production manager for Dell, Inc. I’m a helicopter pilot and a baseball fanatic. I also publish a blog (tedstrahanauthor.blogspot.com
IBP – When did you begin writing?
Ted – I began writing novels in 1987 while I was at a probation department workshop. I just started writing a thriller by longhand in my hotel room and fell in love with it.
IBP – What are your favorite hobbies?
Ted – Obviously if you like to write you must love to read. I love thrillers, military history, and stories with a southern setting. I try and update my blog at least twice per week and I love baseball, not just the game, but the history of the sport. I am trying to play the violin, which I’m afraid, is a losing effort.
