Nanotech Deliverance by Evan D. Hirson

The Mentazari had already invaded many worlds. As the ruthless aliens spread themselves throughout the galaxy, it seemed that nothing could stand in their way.
Until one day they chanced upon a little backwater planet called Earth.
In this heated action adventure set in the 2020’s, a new hero rises. Not a military veteran or a scientist, but a young man from the streets … Russell Olfield.
Russ had a harsh upbringing and just wanted to be left alone.
Will the arrogant alien leaders add the Earth to their list of triumphs?
Or against all of the odds, will Russell reintroduce them to a memory long forgotten? … a primitive emotion called fear.

*****

I’ve never really travelled. Over the years my family kept a variety of pets, with silk worms probably being the most exotic.
As a young man I preferred science fiction, but somewhere along the line it became darker and more cynical.
For some reason it just didn’t appeal to me anymore, and I just never went back to reading again.
But recently my life was turned upside down, and with the advent of the e-book revolution the possibility of writing for a living became a viable proposition.
Nowadays as a new author I’ve got the old passion for books back again, but from the other side of the coin.
There’s a lot of competition out there, but I still think it’s worth the effort because it’s the thing I enjoy most.
